Grigory Tarasevich – winner, Kirill Prigoda – silver medalist of Universiade-2019

In Naples (Italy) on the second day of the XXX World Summer Universiade, Russian swimmers won one gold and one silver medal.

Grigory Tarasevich won the 100m backstroke with a score of 53.51 seconds. Kirill Prigoda became the silver medalist in the 100 m breaststroke, losing only 0.01 seconds to American Jan Finnerty, who set the record of the competition – 59.49.

Daniil Markov (23.91) and Sofia Spodarenko (26.80) finished sixth, while Mark Nikolaev (54.51) was in the 100m.
