Results of the first day of the European Junior Swimming Championships

On the first day of the European Championship, the Russian team shows a decent, but not the best result. At the moment, the team has one gold, two silvers and two bronzes. Aleksandr Egorov lost to Swiss Antonio Diakovic in the 400 meters freestyle and finished second.

Andrey Minakov lost to Swiss Noe Ponti (1st) and German Luke Nick Armbruster (2nd place) in the 50-meter butterfly. Anastasia Makarova took third place in the 50 meters breaststroke, behind Lithuanian Cortina Teterevkova (2nd place) and Italian Benededta Pilato (1st place).

In the 4 to 100 meters freestyle relay, the men's team took first place, overtaking the Italians and the English, and the girls lost to Germany and took second place. The men's relay team included:
