The Russian Open Water Swimming Cup was held in Moscow

On June 24, the first stage of the Russian Open Water Swimming Cup in 2019 took place at the Istrin Sky Reservoir on the territory of the Romantic Country Club (Moscow Region, Sunnygorsk Region, Lopotovo Village).

The competitionof the starting stage was attended by the strongest Russian marathon swimmers, including members of the Russian national team, who will perform at the 2019 FINA World Aquatics Championships in the Republic of Korea – Kirill Abrosimov, Kirill Belyaev, Denis Adeev, Anastasia Krapivina, Maria Novikova, Anastasia Basalduk.
This year's Russian Cup draw will be held in four stages. The second stage will take place on July 27 in Lipetsk, the third – August 25 in Vladivostok, the fourth – September 16 in the village of Sukko, Krasnodar region.
Athletes at each stage will have to swim a distance of 5 km. The winners of the Russian Cup will be the athletes who scored the most points on the special table (separately for men and women) at the end of the two stages. Participation in the final stage is mandatory.
